Ornella Pasta

Ornella pasta is a creation of Ornella Fissore & Valerio Vittone. The mother-and-son duos have created a pasta range of Agnolotti, Ravioli, Lasagna, Taglierini and other pasta and dessert dishes that are part of the Fissore's long family heritage. The ethos of ORNELLA is to preserve the regional & royal (ie Piedmont and Turin where the State/City of the King of Italy before Mussolini came into power) most authentic recipes since the family was established in 1420 and associated to the Vatican State and the royal Savoy family for over 600 years. The finest authentic Italian pasta is made rigorously by hand (with silver moulds for the ravioli) and with the combination of top Italian Imported ingredients (eg San Daniele prosciutto, Parmigiano Reggiano) and Organic local chicken & eggs. The result is a range of gourmet food products with unique fillings and a very thin pasta that cooks in only 3 minutes ! (other products on the market cook in 6-11 min) Never before it was proposed to the Australian market a hand made pasta product that food connoisseurs can only taste at the very finest Italian restaurants around the world.
