PRICE RISES
Foodies would like to make you aware that we have been advised by a number of our suppliers that they are about to experience a few price changes prior to Christmas.
Carmans Museli will increase in price from the 15/10/09
Maggie Beer Products changes from 1/11/09
Paradise Beach increase from late November.
Unfortunately this is due to the rising cost of raw material.

NEW PREMISES!!
The Big News for May is that after thirteen years at the old warehouse in St. Peters, Foodies has moved to our new State of the Art Warehouse in Mascot. We were bursting at the seams and the change has been welcomed by all the staff.
The move is advantageous on many fronts.
Firstly, the new space allows Foodies to expand their range, improving stock levels and reducing 'out of stocks'. The dedicated packing areas will improve work practices and help eliminate packing errors.
Secondly, the office staff love their new and spacious office upstairs. Thanks to Neil for the new coat of paint. Our workstations are very user-friendly, and there is a lovely leafy outlook over the nearby park.
They say a change is as good as a holiday, and we are all feeling very refreshed.
NEW STAFF MEMBER!!
Foodies would like to welcome Steven Daniel to the team as our new Sales Manager.
Steven hails from Perth, Western Australia, and has moved to the east coast to join us. He comes from a hospitality and food background, originally working the family cafe business and then spending two years with the Blue Cow Cheese Company in Perth, as Sales Manager. Consequently he is already very familiar with many of our products, and as a dedicated Foodie he will be a great asset to the team.
He is thoroughly enjoying settling into the inner city lifestyle of Sydney, and is enjoying all the great food this city has to offer.
Look forward to seeing his smiling face shortly as he heads out onto the road with the Sales Team.
